Xiǎo Yóu huídá ：“dōu zài ，Lǔ Fù shuō zìjǐ jīngguò zǒuláng de shíhou ，kàndào móshùshī zhèngzài zìjǐ fáng lǐ liànxí ，érqiě yǒu yānwù piāo chūlái 。xùnshòushī yě zài fáng lǐ xùnliàn yī zhī xiǎodòngwù ，ér kānménrén zé zài fáng lǐ yībiān tīng guǎngbō ，yībiān dòu wánr tā de yīngwǔ 。lìng jù kānménrén jiǎng ，tā dāngshí chúle kàndào LǔFù jìnchū dàmén zhīwài ，méiyǒu kàndào rènhérén 。”

Xiao You replied, “Yes they were. Lu Fu said when he walked through the hallway he saw the magician practicing in his room and that there was smoke drifting out as well. The animal trainer was also in his room training a small animal. The gatekeeper was in his room listening to the radio and playing with his pet parrot. According to the gatekeeper, he didn’t see anyone other than Lu Fu leaving and entering through the main gate.”

小尤说：“除了最里面的房间，看门人的房间靠近大门，中间两个，一个是驯兽师的，一个是魔术师的，而厕所在大门外。”

XiǎoYóu shuō ：“chúle zuì lǐmiàn de fángjiān ，kānménrén de fángjiān kàojìn dàmén ，zhōngjiān liǎng gè ，yī gè shì xùnshòushī de ，yī gè shì móshùshī de ，ér cèsuǒ zài dàmén wài 。”

Xiao You said, “Besides the innermost room, there is the gatekeeper’s room, which is near the main entrance. The middle two rooms are occupied by the animal tamer and the magician. Additionally, the bathroom is outside the main entrance.”
