There are a lot of ways. The most common way is through the Internet. Taking your computer as an example, maybe you carelessly clicked on some webpages. These pages had some virus documents on them, and after you clicked on them they were automatically installed on your computer. And as email has become widely used, there have also appeared some viruses that spread via email. It's really hard to guard against. For instance, recently the ``Worm.Lovegate" virus was stirring up trouble on a large scale. It was transmitted via email. It led to computers being controlled by viruses and network paralysis. It created all kinds of serious problems like information leaks.
