My father's a big guy, to get there would be quite a bit of effort for him. I wanted to go instead, but he just wouldn't let me. I just had to give into my insistent father. As he was crossing the tracks, he first placed the tangerines on the platform. He then slowly lowered himself to the tracks and picked the tangerines back up to walk over. When he got to my side of the track, I rushed to help him. As he and I got back onto the train, he placed all the tangerines on my fur coat. He patted the dirt off his jacket, and looked very satisfied. After a moment, he said to me: ”I am leaving now. Remember to write to me! ”. I looked over as he walked out. After just a few steps, he looked back at me and said "Go back in, your things are unattended". Once he disappeared into the bustling crowd and I could find him no more, I came in and sat down. My tears came again.
