I am not sure I heard that 咱们 was more common in the North. I definitely heard it about 俺们 though, would you be thinking of that?

Just a little plea for Jenny to try extra hard to filter out any English. All the following words an expressions appeared in this lesson in English:

crowd funding, business model, revenue model, essentially, in essence, you know, factory, business, manufacturers, advanced, it's not a physical location, field, wolf, smoke, anyway, the by-product of this, investor, stock options, equity shares, idea, e-commerce, smart hardware, wearables, money, criminal offence, illegally, pragmatic, profit driven

It is very easy to understand how this can happen as the format of upper intermediate and advanced classes have become similar recently with two Chinese presenters (which is great), so it must be very easy to lose track of what level show you are recording. It is probably the case that some of these business terms are used directly in English even between Chinese people and it is much easier to say "revenue model" than try to explain the concept (I had to Google it anyway to find out what it was), but from a learning point of view to have it described in Chinese would be much more useful. Also there is another aspect which is that hearing something in English always throws me slightly as I find myself unloading one language chip and loading up another. It is impressive how Jenny can flit between the two and very useful at intermediate and upper intermediate level, but where I am right now, struggling to get a grip on the advanced level, it paradoxically seems easier to me to follow the classes when they are all in Chinese.

That's strange, I had quite the opposite impression. I thought he seemed very natural and comfortable speaking Chinese too.
