That's very confusing. Is there a generic term used for cousin? Or do you really have to be this specific?

I've never seen it in any cities I've visited anywhere in the world, although I haven't travelled very much...

I suppose there's quite a lot of street dancing in block parties in certain parts of the US, but that's very different :)

Oh I dunno. I found the Shanghai accent to be uniquely piercing to the eardrums...

To be fair, the recent intermediate "walking the bird" did include 3 成语-type sayings...

Yea, I am kind of high pitched :-p

I grew up in London, but I don't have any particular accent I think. Just very standard neutral English.

It was definitely 落四 Là sì - Ah, google translate likes 丢三落四, guess I misheard the first syllable a lot. Told you my chinese was awful! :)

Sorry I never got to meet you Jen! At least I got to chat briefly to you on the phone :)

Mum! I'm famous on the internet!

Can't believe you didn't cut it that much folks! I just went on and on, heh. Sorry I didn't get to come on Thursday and meet the full team, but it was still lots of fun. Also sorry I didn't stay and properly thank Connie and JiaoJie for all their hard work, by the time we came out of the studio they had disappeared somewhere. Ho hum!

The 成语... I've only heard it verbally and can't find it online... I'll ask Christine and update you :-p

Really? I used it about 20 times just last week, and it worked fine...
