After the mics were switched off:

John: Hey, let's record that video of your 武术!

Jenny: Sure, I'll show you first...

John: No, not the face!

Jenny: 踢腿!打拳!

John: You messed my hair! NO WAY. I REFUSE TO EVER RECORD WITH YOU AGAIN.

Jenny: Fine! We're getting new talent in then!

Jason: !

True story. Don't try and deny it Chinesepod! You can't hide behind your web of lies! ;-)

That's very useful, thank you. So you can't say 我认你了 either? (I recognise you). How would you say that then?

How exciting - new voices! Really happy to hear Jason getting more airtime, he's so helpful and friendly on the boards, it can only be just reward for him :-). Look forward to hearing more of Dilu. Congratulations both!

Expansion sentence:

对不起

为什么这不是"我认错你了"?

Hello. An expansion sentence uses 食物 Shíwù for food. There seem to be a lot of words for food, is there any logic to the way they're used?

cài

fàn

食品 shípǐn

食物 shíwù

飲食 yǐnshí

餐飲 cānyǐn
