August 30, 2012 at 2:27 PMHi bodawei, I'm curious why your using a 会 in these sentences. It doesn't sound right to me (though I'm not confident enough to say that it isn't).
I'd go for something like 吃了药以后,我感觉好多了。
Any other takers?

August 30, 2012 at 6:24 AMGood question and good answer. I'd never thought of 在 as a verb complement either.
You can see some more examples here...

August 29, 2012 at 3:52 PMI just go to the box under the player (lesson review downloads), right click on the link there and "save target as" or "save link as". Then you can use a media player to put it on your MP3. Don't know about Macs though.

July 23, 2012 at 3:14 PMGood question gbien. No doubt it was intended as a joke, but I can't help but feel we were short-changed a bit. Hopefully Dilu will come onto the boards and satisfy our curiosity :)

July 17, 2012 at 10:07 AMHey Baba,
I think the 点儿 is here because what you're really saying is "Get (FURTHER) away from me." Kind of like 说慢点儿 and 开快点儿。If you just said 你离我远 the meaning would be "you are a long way away from me". At any rate it's just the natural way to say it. If memory serves me correctly John explained it in this lesson.

July 16, 2012 at 12:45 PM呵呵。我要坦白一下,对我来说这就是世界上最好的笑话。不管听了多少遍,我还是忍不住笑起来。
Which reminds me, I once tried to pull off this very joke myself on the Cpod boards in this lesson. It seems it resonated with an equally appreciative audience back then too :)
