Actually I am what as described in the beginning of the lesson by Jenny and Connie as a military fan/bug. Military hardware, tactics and history are my favorite subjects. I used to serve in the military.
IMHO, there is no point in having lessons where nouns are tossed together. One might as well just get a vocabulary list. The sentences are spoken rapidly, not all the speakers speak standard Mandarin.
This subject could have been dealt with far better by writing a thoughtful dialogue, one where one speaker's thought dovetail with the next's. There are so many interesting topics on this subject: Could Japan and the US have been able to shoot down the NK missile with the present Aegis Cruiser? What are the implications of China's possession of more than a handful of Russian-built Kilo class subs? How did the Song-class sub infiltrate the US fleet?
I apology for not just rolling over on this subject.

Suffice it to say both sides of my family are from the losing side of the Chinese civil war could not remain for obvious reasons. I'm quite aware of the Chinese military . . . .
My comments were regarding the tightness of the dialogue. It is quite possible to write an excellent lesson with military terms without the incoherent teenage exhortations playing an inconceivably bad video game. Let me simply say, some lessons well conceived and written. Others serve as inspiration for future achievement.
