I think if you do lessons in sequence, they try to bring up the older vocab automatically. At least this was true for me on Elementary / Intermediate if I remember correctly.

Alternatively, you could try arranging the review mp3 on a Pimsleur schedule -- 1,2, 5, and 25 days after the lesson. This worked out super great for me all way through intermediate. A daily playlist would include 1 lesson and 4 reviews, totaling about 30 minutes -- just like the Simon and Schuster series.

Fun lesson, and finally there's one of these restaurants in downtown Shanghai -- with crab rangoon, fortune cookies and all , wonder if the founders were inspired by this lesson

The link at dict.chinesepod.com does not seem to work, is the dictionary still alive? I just got to the news show today, but then I noticed it was a bit old. Still, a dictionary would be nice so I wanted to check it out...

In the dialogue section,

生日的时候妈妈。
When it’s your birthday, and I’ll buy you one.

translation should be fixed, it's not "I"...

Ah, hokay, I see. Yes, as far as i know most of the time adding erhua does not change the meaning, including for zher and nar. I think wikipedia has some examples where it does, but they are very few.

Where exactly is the discussion of shanghai pirates on that page, I can't see any :( Perhaps you can copy / paste it into here directly ?
