April 9, 2013 at 2:08 AMSo true. I have already had this happened RIGHT ABOVE me in two places in Shanghai in the past 2 years. Both were due to a newly married couple moving in, so they always have to do renovations, no matter how old the place is. The one that was really annoying, was in a building built in 2007! When I was looking at my place, I asked if all this had been completed, no empty, unrenovated apartments, and was told by the realtor that all were completed and had people living in them. I asked this just to make sure I wasn't moving into a place that was far from complete...and yet a month later, renovations right above me start happening, as early as 7am. UGH!

April 1, 2013 at 6:24 AMOh my....they actually used a picture from our programming area at ChinesePod....now you can't accuse those in the picture for not being programmers like people did with the image for Part 1 (they were wearing ties...we never do).... unfortunately I didn't make the picture, as I'm down with the other foreign programmers, haha.

April 1, 2013 at 6:22 AMI have a Wii with Zelda and such games in Chinese. I'll have to try that and see if my Chinese improves again....I actually had wanted to play games in Chinese years ago...didn't even occur to me know how I have such an opportunity. Unfortunately my TV isn't the best, so reading text isn't all that good, but at least can listen.
