i wish i could help you out mate, but i don't find the subject useful and as such haven't concerned myself with it. plus i'm just too lazy. just knowing that radicals have evolved or morphed over time and the forming of characters by different radicals is enough for me. however, i s'pose a good knowledge of the meaning of radicals would be helpful in understanding the formation of a given character. i understand there are three radicals for knife, two i know of for water, person, heart etc.
good luck with your search. i'm sure there are other poddies lurking around that may be of help.

no they don't, the former is describing a person who ran away, went away, fast. the latter is describing a person who either runs fast or is running fast.

the beauty of the human body! i bet he'd rather have his belly full, his kids educated, his mum and dad cared for. but then again, maybe he just likes his washboards. but looking at the expression on the faces of said 'bone bags' in my local district, it's hard to believe so.
