can't help i'm afraid. using and supplying are of course two distinct categories of crime.
although he was a junky, he never dealt in hard drugs.
even though he has been a junky for many years, he has never gone so far as to deal in hard drugs.
i hope these two examples are of some help.
at a guess i would say the use of even though adds emphasis in the above examples.
both although and even though emphasise contraryness or even contradiction.
he likes her, even though she comes across as trying to hard.
she's very talented, although at times she does overdo it a tad.

可怜的宝贝儿，忍不住要报仇，就向我生气的骂道 ‘你不觉每天玩你的那个cpod也不是很无聊吗？’

October 22, 2009 at 5:08 AMbecause its the rainy season here in sichuan, and to avoid soiling my jeans, i thought it best to buy a 防泥板 (fang3ni2ban3 mudguard) for my bike. but the cost of said mudguard was well within the ridiculous range which turned me off.

like changye I've seen and see plenty of poeple 带着雨伞骑自行车。but ive yet to see 带烟灰缸的自行车或电电凭车。
