March 17, 2008 at 12:56 PMChangye, with your comment you made me remember the character Lieutenant Dunbar from Catch-22. He spends most of his time being bored or doing things he doesn't like because it makes it seem like time is passing much slower. And when time passes slowly his life seems much longer!

March 17, 2008 at 9:55 AMThanks for sharing the pictures! I especially like the picture of Josh and Clay? watching the computer screen. I would love to know what they were discussing in that moment.

March 14, 2008 at 11:56 AMI don't think I'm saying too much by revealing this movie was a big movie in Europe too. I actually never got to see it as a kid but still remember how you could get chewing gum cards with pictures from the movie.

March 14, 2008 at 11:26 AMHi Alice and Josh! You were both great and it was so much fun hearing about your impressions of China. And Alice, don't underestimate your own contributions to the CPod community. I still remember how you were one of the first people to welcome me when I first joined about 9 months ago and how it made me feel comfortable about leaving comments and being an active member.

March 11, 2008 at 1:03 PMI've never in my life licked a battery but I grew up on a farm and we had plenty of electric fences around... And luckily I'm not boy. ;-)

March 11, 2008 at 10:45 AMTapping your tongue on a 9 volt battery??? I'm completely at a loss here. Is that part of growing up in North America or some bizarre Canadian or Texan ritual? :-)

March 3, 2008 at 8:49 PMI think I finally managed to come up with an example of my own. How does this sound? 我一听请问,就开笑。 wǒ yī tīng Qǐng Wèn, jiù kāi xiào. Grammar on Monday becomes so much fun in your hands.

March 20, 2008 at 9:40 AMThis has to be the greatest CPod lesson ever! ;-) I think Aunty Sue doesn't have access to the internet at the moment but I can't wait for her to get back. She'll express the feelings of us kniitting gals much better than I'll ever be able to. Now I have to go and think about some scarfs... :-)
