May 26, 2008 at 1:23 PMThere's a big difference between pointing out that someone's accent is non-standard and saying it's not correct. Unfortunately people do judge you on basis of your accent, sometimes not even consciously. A part of language learning is also learning about the different assumptions people make based on a certain accent or choice of words.

August 7, 2008 at 9:51 AMGreat lesson. I'll be repeating 石头、剪刀、布 all day now. Kind of like getting a song stuck in your head, just in a good way.And since the game is called 'sten, saks, papir' in Danish I'll have no problems remembering the meaning of each word.
By the way Jenny, you can come and do my dishes anytime. ;-)
