January 19, 2010 at 9:31 AMThe more I listen to this lesson, the more it sounds like:
boyfriend walks into flat
girlfriend stops playing a siren cassette tape.
What a quirky girlfriend.

January 18, 2010 at 10:51 AMI think the idea of a 4 person class makes a lot of sense. Less time to muck about, a sufficient amount of time to warm up and get your head in gear. I think it is a really smart move.
I just need MORE TIME! If only I could virtually turn up to work, and in reality be studying.

January 15, 2010 at 4:51 PMNo, I managed to get away with it. The smell of cologne outweighed the smell of burnt carpet; The bed covered the bald patch. Over the years, I guess the rest of the carpet looked similarly scruffy.
Happy days :)

January 13, 2010 at 3:06 PMI once set fire to one of those Dancing Coke Cans, using some of my dad's Old Spice. It danced a hardly visible flaming dance, then spilt some of the flaming cologne on the carpet - making the carpet a little plasticy/melty.
I had to spend the rest of my youth in that room with my bed at an unnatural angle to cover the aftermath of my experiment.
The End

December 9, 2009 at 3:17 PMI would never pronounce Crepe 'crape' and I am from the UK.
I did once look at a sign, on the way home from the pub once and say "What the hell is a 'Bag El'?"
I love toasted bagels, I was just inebriated.
Unrelatedly - did everyone see the Mobius Bagel?

Loving Maths and Bagels, this to me is the greatest breakthrough this year.
Thanks for the show! I didn't get FnB at the beginning, but I sort of gathered it from context.
And one last thing - Beijing 大饼 (dàbǐng) are delicious! But they seem quite a distant cousin of the crepe!
Cheerio!

January 22, 2010 at 3:11 PMThere is only one massive ball of gas, millions of miles away, which dictates anything to do with my life - and I live in Scotland, and hardly ever see it.
It is not that I am a sceptic about Astrology, because that implies I have doubts. I am pretty resolute. It is balderdash!
