April 22, 2008 at 1:35 PMAlso.. I just noticed that in the title for this 请问 you have the incorrect character for xin1. You have xing4 which is 幸 meaning luckily/fortunately instead of 辛.. 1 too many strokes there. :)

April 22, 2008 at 1:06 PMI can understand the "man" person a lot more than the others. I think his syllables/particles are more pronounced and clearer. I would have a lot of trouble trying to understand the others because I so used to Jenny, John and Ken's voices now...

You can check replies to the conversations you are in by going to "Conversations" at the top, then select "Your Conversations" from the drop down box. amber says April 21, 2008 @ 05:52 pm hi jhklhjk, Because most nouns in Chinese are made up of two characters combined, when there is a noun that is only one character, often 子 (zi) is added to make it into two characters, as in: 房子 (fángzi)，车子 (chēzi)，桌子 (zhuōzi)，椅子 (yǐzi), etc.

April 22, 2008 at 11:00 AMI can almost read that lujiaojie.. My reading skills are getting better! :) Can recognise a lot of those characters, some I recognise but forget the meaning of. 国人 for example I know.. and of course 你是不是 as well :) 公司 I did not know though.. so I couldn't read the whole sentence.. but I looked it up! I will try harder next time! :) I am still finding it difficult to construct my own sentences though...
