Thanks Miantiao but my last question wasn't totally right. Here is the new version :

把筷子会用中指和无名指操作好?

Ok I admit my question wasn't really clear before.

Here is a new version :

谁会用中指和无名指操作筷子?

I wonder if the following sentence is correct :

请把筷子会用中指操作好?

谁会用中指操作筷子?

I thought that the index finger was called 食指 because it was the only finger able the manipulate the directional chopstick. But it seems that some skilled people with small hands can also use their middle finger to do the same thing. That's quite impressive !

Btw congratulations to the Cpod team! This sort of dramatic lesson really imprints the vocab in the memory.

@James234,

Speaking about the 把 structure, here is a saying that doesn't fit your rule :

把自己角色扮演好,全力以赴,每一秒。(every day, play your own part, spare no efforts)

Speaker and listener doesn't alway know what 扮演好 really covers and 角色 isn't very specific.

Hi Spicy Marco,

I've heard that the main connection between the new show and The Amazing Race is related to the classically disgusting Amazing Race food challenge. ;o)

Speaking of fishbone (鱼刺 yúcì) in the supplementary vocabulary, I noticed that having a fishbone blocked is the throat (骨鲠在喉) also means that you can't express all your feelings and 如鲠在喉 means that someone else reveals your hidden feelings. To help memorization, it's interesting to remember that this character 如 (as in 如果) is made of 女 and 口.

FYI, in France we eat the marrow as well. With the right cooking and the right animal, we can even eat most of the bones or the fishbones.

Hi Pete & Jiaojie,

Thank you for the clarification.

But it's difficut to admit that a word with 2.820.000 hits doesn't exist.

中华民族 has 11 100 000 hits on Google

中国民族 has 2 820 000 hits on Google

中国56个民族 has 12 200 hits on Google

中国有56个民族 has 5 020 hits on Google

Another question:

What's the difference between 中华民族 and 中国民族 (中国56个民族) ? Is 中华民族 a larger concept than 中国民族 ?

Speaking of ethnic groups in China, there are few answers I couldn't get in real life (face to face) :

A. Is the Han ethnic group (汉族) like the white caucasian ethnic group in the USA ? Do you need 100% pure Han blood to be called a Han ?

Do you lose the Han ethnicity if you're a mixed blood ? If so, why are the Mongolian-Han mixed bloods always called Han and why are the 88% of Taiwanese with aborigine blood also called Han ?

B. Is the Han ethnic group (汉族) like the black ethnic group in the USA ? Do you need 1% Han blood to be called a Han ? If so the notion of 民族 doesn't have any sense as 50% of the world population would be Han.

PS: As the African continent is the origin of all human being, theoretically 100% of the world population is black.
