Is the dice of 6 faces the origin of 六合彩 ?

Is there a relation between the numbers on the dice and 六害彩 ("color(s)" of the six evils) ?

Speaking of "breaking bowls", I looked for the famous baseball expression "breaking balls" in chinese :

变方向的球 (to change the orientation of the ball).

Thanks Pete,

In french we also use the expression "procès stalinien" (stalinist trial) to speak about unfounded accusation. It makes reference to the Moscow Trials. I guess it's not possible to use this kind of historical reference in China. ;)

I'm looking for a chengyu about 无理指责 (unfounded accusation).

Is there a chinese equivalent of the following french expression ?

Qui veut noyer son chien l’accuse de la rage.

He who wants to drown his dog accuses it of having rabies (give a dog a bad name and hang him)

谁想淹死他的狗控告它有狂犬病。

Hi Pete,

I didn't say that 狗胆包天 was the name of a dish. I just thought that this chengyu shows dog's gall bladder (狗胆) as a possible source of audacity and then as a possible ingredient in chinese cuisine.

熊胆 is used because it sounds like 雄胆 but 狗胆 may be used only because of the chengyu.

In modern english (and modern french), "suicide someone" (suicided someone) has a specific meaning :

- Someone is murdered and then arranged in such a way to make the death seem like a suicide.

- Somenone is forced to take his own life so that the real culprit leaves little to no evidence of wrongdoing.

Hi Pete,

With the phrase 卧薪尝胆, I guess gall bladder is a delicacy in chinese restaurants and with 狗胆包天 dog's gall bladder may be consider the strongest of all.

Thus what the names of some typical chinese dishes with dog gall bladder in it ? What's the poetic name of the gall bladder in chinese cuisine ?
