March 6, 2008 at 3:05 AMLance032's explanation of 回来and 回 is awesome. Also, 回来means to 'come back from'，e.g. 我从公司回来。/I came back from work./ 回 means to 'go back'. It is often used in conjuction with a place, e.g. 我回公司。I am going back to work.

March 13, 2008 at 4:49 AMMy dad used to judge a man's character soley by whether he AAs or not. In his mind, AA was the ultimate definition of cheap. He used to spend most of his salary treating people. Then he got married and my mom wisely took control of the household finance.
