May 8, 2008 at 7:17 AMchangye brought up a great point. A lot of small Hunan restaurants are called 毛主席家乡菜/mao2 zhu3 xi2 jia1 xiang1 cai4/food from Chairman Mao's hometown.

May 8, 2008 at 4:14 AMI watched a documentary about Hunan food. It claims that traditionally 80% of Hunan dishes was actually not that spicy. But the few famous ones were and helped build a reputation of the cuisine being spicy. So much so that now Hunan food as a whole has become spicier.

May 6, 2008 at 7:02 AM原来dreadlocks是脏辫. Dirty locks? 听起来有些恐怖。 成龙和李连杰合演的电影就叫“功夫之王”，现在正在放。我不太会主动去电影院看武打片，不过真看了，总会觉得特别棒。
