January 27, 2010 at 3:08 AM逼 and 强迫 are essentially the same. But 逼is more casual and colloquial, 强迫 is more formal. They can be used interchangeablly in most cases.

January 26, 2010 at 3:35 AM热情 refers to a type of personality or attitude which encompasses 'warm, welcoming, kind, and enthusiastic'. A 热情 person loves life, loves making friends and makes people feel at home. I think it's a word that takes several words in English to explain, but in Chinese the meaning is quite clear. If I were to think of a public personality who is 热情, probably Oprah Winfrey. Hope this makes things clearer.
