November 18, 2010 at 5:30 AMIt's called an "epicanthic fold". We're all born with it but lose it after birth, some lose more than others. Why does the trait exist? There are several ideas but no answer.

The US formula (at least for Hershey) involves scalding the milk before using it. I don't know if they still do it that way or not.
