Franch, I not going to comment on your Freudian slip here. Just to say with us both having cats it could be expected. Dave, I don't think the lesson offends as much as the way some of the comments seem to be taken. References to sex still seem a little devisive, even in the context of modern western culture.

Changye, Have you ever been turned away from a hotel. I've seen many hotels with signs saying "No Japanese allowed".

I never said the two were mutually exclusive, I also left out the Sociologist.

Interesting how discussions involving sex turn some people into giggling school children and others into human rights activists.

Chinesepod you are once again spying on my life. Just the other day a friend of mine complained about how 随便 his chase was. He's rather traditional and this shocked him somewhat.

Lol, Kyle, thats similar to how a friend and Iused to deal with street hawkers. Whenever we were approached we would pretend to converse in Spanish and this would quickly see them off. My Spanish is practically non existant (can say a little thanks to Spanishsense), but they didn't know that.

I like this lesson, describing events is a very important part of conversation, and this type of event gives you something exciting to tell someone, if you can say it. This is exactly what I need to study right now and is about the right level for me. 硬碰硬 sounds like an irresistable force and immovable object interaction.
