Once I got sick (fever, stomach, diarrhea) I was forced to drink a glass of baijiu because of its magical healing powers. But to be fair: It wasn't "real" baijiu because it had been blessed by some famous monk. Unfortunately the effect was rather devastating. But maybe the monk just had a bad day.
