July 6, 2009 at 3:01 AMExactly, "ránhòu" is frequently used, and it's a conj. means then. So, it's ok that I use "ránhòu" so often when I describe an event，eg. 我们吃了晚餐，然后我就送她回家了。 But "yǐhòu" is an adv., which means after; afterwards; later; hereafter，a little bit like in the future. Eg. We'll talk about it later! 我们以后再说！wǒmen yǐhòu zàishuō. 我们以后会有个大花园！We'll have a big garden in the future!
