华裔 huá yì ethnic Chinese; non-Chinese citizen of Chinese ancestry
华侨 huá qiáo overseas Chinese holding Chinese citizenship
My grandparents immigrated to the Philippines (菲律宾) and were of Chinese citizenship all their lives. They were 菲律宾的华侨。
My father (deceased) and mother were born in the Philippines but never granted Filipino citizenship, so they are technically considered as 华侨。
I was 华侨 for a while until I got my Filipino citizenship and became 菲律宾的华裔。Now I hold an American citizenship and is a 美国的的华裔。
You can say that 我是英国的华裔。我的父母都是中国人or(华侨)。我出生在伦敦，英国。
