With all due respect to Chinese Pod, I believe Spanish Pod is in a better position to handle Miami. Dealing with Miami means understanding the Hispanics of Cuban origin, Fidel Castro, Hugo Chavez, Cuba, the Pope, and the Haitians.

There are many subtleties in the Spanish language which means a word might be OK in this country but means something bad in another country. I work in a very diverse workplace so I have learned to be culturally sensitive and that at times means acknowledging my limitations.

Chinese Pod is perfect when it comes to overseas Chinese.

It seems to take a lot of effort to be able to work in China.

Luowen, I would not, for the life of me, ask Chinese Pod to do a write up on Miami. I will be setting them up for failure and myself for disappointment.

I see Chinese Pod as a source for general language fluency so that I can function well in a Chinese speaking society. But for very specialized language knowledge, there are specialized language books for business, medicine, technology and sports etc. in the book store. I understand that interpreters and translators in these fields are paid higher.

Perhaps you could come up with an arrangement as a consultant for Chinese Pod on a Trialthon series? Then you can have something custom made for you.

You are not happy with the lesson. I hear you. As to whether it's shoddy or not, it is purely a subjective view. We just have to agree to disagree.

Actually $125.00 a year for subscription is very reasonable and I am very content with what I get back. Here in Florida, the rate for tutoring a child or an adult for Chinese lesson is around $15.00-$20.00 an hour.

陈雷和陈的名字读音是一样,性格也都是呆呆的。他们很有趣但也有点可怜。陈雷的经理好像对他很不滿意。如果他在我的公司工作的话,我猜想他不久就会被解雇。
