I read that in main land chinese the 给 preposition must appear before verb, e.g. 我给你打电话. here
Apparently in Taiwan the 给 preposition can also appear after the verb.
Now, in
麻烦你告诉他我打过电话给他。
Máfan nǐ gàosu tā wǒ dǎ guo diànhuà gěi tā.
gei3 goes after the verb (da3 dian4hua4). What is the explanation here?

thanks, I didn't know about 小沈阳. I could just understand a few words and sentences but I liked to watch.
Speaking of 穿着人的衣服的男人; Did you watch the Star wars movies? There's a British comedian, Eddie Izzard, who performs a sketch about the death star canteen. 很好笑. ^_^ (You must have access to youtube to watch it though...)
Is "穿着女人的衣服的男人" good chinese? (语法)

I've heard that speakers of southern accents don't differentiate s from sh, c from ch and z from zh. What would you say is typical for the Harbin accent?
I would really like to hear the 廊坊 or 承德 accent. Do you know where we can find a video or mp3 exemplifying those accents?

I agree, the tone marks could be made larger. But compared to the tonemarks in the chinese perakun popup translator, the CPod tone marks are huge already ;)
