听说 is a high frequency word. It is a verb, and often used at the beginning of a sentence. But putting pronouns in front of 听说 is also acceptable.
tal_'s example is correct.
我听说你有新的工作了。
Wǒ tīngshuō nǐ yǒu xīn de gōngzuò le.
I hear you got a new job.

It's OK to leave out 学 in this sentence, but having 学 is also grammatically correct and commonly used.

It's OK to use one of them, or use them together in one sentence. All of the following sentences are correct.
如果明天下雨，我就不去了。
Rúguǒ míngtiān xiàyǔ, wǒ jiù bù qù le.
明天下雨的话，我就不去了。
Míngtiān xiàyǔ dehuà, wǒ jiù bù qù le.
如果明天下雨的话，我就不去了。
Rúguǒ míngtiān xiàyǔ dehuà, wǒ jiù bù qù le.

清楚 is a verb as well as an adjective.
In the sentence "我清楚多了。", 清楚 is an adjective.
