November 7, 2008 at 12:49 PMI think the usual expression is "a word to the wise" even though "word of the wise" also makes sense.Good advice though.
In the audio there seems to be a slight glitch near the end after feichang hao [not that it matters].I was also wondering whether the sound of turning papers was the actors reading their lines or whether it was deliberate in the context of looking at business papers/contracts etc.Just observations really though.

I believe that you can't post photo's directly from your computer.I've not done this myself ,but I'm pretty sure you have to first put them on a website like picasa [ website address is http://picasa.google.com/] which is here or flickr [http://www.flickr.com/ ] which is here.Good luck.

I was going to make exactly the same point as Kimiik.Furthermore ,I think Sarah is only in her early 20's meaning she was born somewhere around 1980.I think she can hardly be held personally accountable for history and thus would have thought such a personal attack was totally uncalled for.She sounds like a lovely young lady to me.Surely we're all here to learn Mandarin and to better understand China's culture.

November 8, 2008 at 2:15 AMVery good Connie;thanks.Your top matched the background nicely.I noticed you used "de" in women de baba.I wondered if you were all not feeling so close as usual on that occasion when there was going to be some spanking of your didi.Reminiscent of how many people get called by their full name by their parents when they are in trouble rather than their affectionate nickname [does that happen in Chinese culture?].But perhaps I am overanalysing this one?
