I'd already had what little I'd managed to transcribe corrected by a native speaker but only just now finally had a chance to go through it and make my corrections and I'm blown away by how flawless your transcript is.The only difference of any significance I've come across up to the 1m 48s mark is that for the sentence you have transcribed as:
啊，以前我记得就是说，在重庆出现过一个世上最牛的钉子户，是吧？
..世上 was given to me as史上.Both seem to fit well though and make good sense,the only difference being the tone.I hope this is helpful and not seen as nitpicking.Cheers :)

February 6, 2010 at 5:53 AMIn case there is some trouble viewing that,I'll post it here to view directly.Obviously it has to be taken with a huge grain of salt and in parts I didn't get it at all I fear,and for the rest it's mainly the gist I think I've captured.I've tried to lean closer to a literal translation for the most part.Feeling too lazy to go through it all with an idiomatic and in parts where I haven't quite captured it would find that pretty challenging.Corrections are greatly appreciated.Here it is:

其实看了就知道，《阿凡达》是一部反映钉子户抗暴力拆迁的影片，剧情如下：
Actually,as soon as you see it you know,
第一阶段：2154年，一个叫RDA的土地开发公司，来到一个叫潘多拉的地方搞开发，号召大家只要搬家就可以有诱人的赔偿。可那条街居民大多一根筋，说这里是他们祖祖辈辈居住的地方，再多的钱也不干，再好的地方也不去。开发商就很恼火，这家开发公司其实是有半政府背景的，手下还有一些性格暴烈的打手，就像城管，于是开始打。但居民们拥有一些稀奇古怪的自制武器如弓箭、石头，还有违章的大型宠物如长颈马、迅雷兽，男女老少都很难缠，加之老街地形复杂道路崎岖，手机信号都有死角，所以开发商一时得不了手，还伤了不少人，这个时候开发商就想出派“阿凡达”去当卧底的点子。所谓“阿凡达”计划其实是让人化妆成当地居民刺探他们的底牌，了解地形，分化瓦解，为开发商提供最佳拆迁方案。
In the first section of the movie:it's the year 2154,and a land development company called RDA has come to a place called Pandora to open it up for development[alternative translation here...exploit a resource] ,and they appeal to everyone [meaning the Na'vi] that as long as they move their home territory they'll be compensated.For the most part the inhabitants say this is their ancestral home,and that even for a lot of money they're not will to go,there's no better place to live.The developer at once got very angry at this.This development company actually has a semi-Government background,and it's leadership has a few with the disposition of hired thugs [ ? but appear to be the city manager?], so as a result they start fighting.However the inhabitants have a few strange homemade weapons,such as bow and arrow,stones,and also unnaturally large pets such as a long necked horse,?thunderbolt beast,and men and women and old and young are all very difficult to deal with,and moreover the topography involves a lot of complex rugged mountainous paths,the mobile phone signal dies there,and therefore the developer for a while is unable to [?handle the situation...or get a mobile phone signal] [and not just a few of his people are injured],so at this point the developer thinks of sending "Avatar" to go and act as an undercover agent to help direct them.This so called "Avatar" plan is actually to disguise one to make him look like a local inhabitant to spy on their [?stategic moves],to understand the terrain,[?to split up the Na'vi so as to bring them down??],all to give the developers the optimal plan for taking the land from it's owners.
第二阶段：可是这个叫“杰克”的阿凡达在卧底时不小心泡上了当地居民首领的女儿，发生真感情，卧底就被反卧底，就反过来动员开发商不要强行拆迁，要体恤民意，他还可以帮忙跟居民沟通做工作。开发商毛了，更毛的是城管头子（那个叫夸奇的退役军人），觉得杰克简直丢了城管的脸，一怒之下就率部前去攻打，有道是 “给我三千城管，一夜收复 台湾”，他们有巨型推土机，有定向爆破，有武装施工队，一时居民望风披靡，还死了抗暴力拆迁的领导人，也就是那女孩的爸爸。
Second part:However this one called the "hero" of Avatar when he's undercover is a bit careless as he gets to know the local chief's daughter,and he starts to develop real feelings for her,and so he starts to turn into an undercover agent [here implying for the Na'vi against the developer],and as a turnaround starts make moves against the developers plans ,that they must not forcefully take away the Na'vi's home,must empathasise with the public will,[he still can help the inhabitants communication work].The developers [?didn't try to understand],and further the city management leader[that one called [?boast strange,hehe] a retired military soldier] thinks the hero will simply [ take care of putting aside his face...?meaning that he never thought Jake Sully would have trouble losing his Avatar down the track and being on side??...ie never anticipated Jake Sully would change sides],he was indignant as he led his troops to go on the attack [and had a saying "give me 3000 walls to take care of,one night to recover ?Taiwan?].They had an enormous bulldozer,[?guided missiles],armed construction team,[and so for a time it looked like the Na'vi's hopes were dashed to the wind],but still to the death the leader was going to resist their homes being torn away from them violently,ie to say the girls father.
第三阶段：这时杰克终于明白，根本不需要什么沟通，大家只能以暴制暴，他带领居民们用最土的武器与城管殊死搏斗，自制燃烧瓶、弹弓、大型野生的或家养的宠物、把物件卡在城管的推土机的齿轮中……最后一幕很有喻意，武装到牙齿的城管头子被女孩用最土的弓箭射杀，代表强势政权和极端武力的一方被代表民意和传统一方制服。
Third part:This time our hero is at last able to understand,fundamentally unnecessary to communicate anything,everyone can only use violence to against the violence,and he leads the Na'vi to use the most crude traditional weapons to fight back and resist the city manager,with homemade Molotov cocktails,catapults,large wild or domestically raised pets,and using objects to stop the [?authorities...meaning the devolpers?]'s bulldozers wheels[or gears?]....the final scene is very metaphorical,the leader of the [developers] is armed to the teeth but the girl using the most crude bow and arrow shoots him to death,which represents a mighty regime and extreme military force on one side were subdued by those standing for the public will and tradition on the other side.
看了这部钉子户史诗般的巨片后我有几点感想：
Having seen the manner of this epic struggle to defend their home [on the big screen? or huge film?],afterwards I had a few points I reflected on:
一、正义。各方都觉得自己代表着正义的，比如开发商认为他是拉动了GDP，搞活了经济，为这个落后愚昧的老街带来新气象，只是遭到不明真相群众的抵制；比如城管头子认为叛徒杰克简直不可理喻，作为一名前军人怎可以不听组织上的指挥，那些垃圾生物一排炮打死得了，废什么话；居民们则认为，他们不需要也不接受所谓“美好生活”，对于“美好生活”他们有自己的标准，他们就愿意住在树洞里跟神灵在一起，而不愿去住高级电梯公寓。这个感想是：所有的战争都是因为自以为的正义而起，但真正的正义是——不要轻易改变别人生活的方式。
Firstly,justice.Every legal party thinks they themselves represent justice/righteousness.For example the developer believes he was pulling along [helping] GDP [?presumably Gross Domestic Product?]..to stimulate the economy,[?for the backwardness and ignorance of the ?locals to bring about a new atmosphere] only to be met with the resistance of the masses who failed to understand the truth of the matter;for example the city manager boss believed the traitorous hero simply wouldn't listen to reason,and as a former soldier how could he [Sully] not listen to the command of the organisation,and those trash creatures [derogatory reference to the Na'vi] should just be wiped out with one blast and be finished with,so why waste words;on the other hand the inhabitants[natives/Na'vi] believe they don't need to receive [neither] a so called "beautiful life",-regarding this "beautiful life" they have their own criteria-,they just want to live together in their tree hole with spirit [?tree of souls...or hometree and tree of souls or their trees with souls],and [nor] are unwilling to go and live in a high level apartment with elevators.These impressions are:to have war because both parties believe themselves to be in the right,but genuine justice is a case of each party must not lightly[or rashly] change others way of life.
二、觉悟。影片没有交待是否有漫天要价的情节，而那些居民们住的是黄金口岸，开发商确实也开出了很高的价格，但居民们还是不搬迁，那棵上千米高的大树成为钉子户们伟大的图腾，是一枚参天的钉子，脚下的根蔓则是链接千万年来亲情的基础，他们是为这个活着的。但开发商认为那棵树就是违章建筑，那些居民就是刁民，不醒事体，不支持城市建设，没有牺牲小我成就大我的觉悟。感想是：人类过度发展的结果我们已经看到了，就是玩得自己资源殆尽，就去抢别人的资源。
Secondly:enlightenment [consciousness].The movie hasn't explained whether there are wide reaching conditions of the plot,and those inhabitants are living in a golden port [I think here referring to the fact they're living above unobtainium] ,and the devolper indeed started out with a very high price,but the Na'vi still refused to relocate,and that huge kilometer high tree changed into a religious symbol [totem] representing the struggle of families holding on in a last ditch effort to save their homes,the tree almost being symbolic of a large nail [of dingzihu fame,hehe] reaching into the sky,and at the foot of the tree the links in the vine roots are symbolic of the foundation of thousands of years of loving family ties,and it is for this they live.But the developer believes that tree is violating construction regulations and the Na'vi are wicked people,and they're not aware of the matters at hand,and not supportive of the city managers construction,and don't think they should have to make a small sacrifice for the devolopers big ideas [consciousness].So my thoughts are:the results of mankinds excessive development we have already seen,precisely that its dangerous to toy with your own natural resources to the utmost,just go fight over other peoples natural resources.
三、自焚。居民们在高科技的飞行器来到之时还不躲避，还倔强地伫立在那棵大钉子前，其实是在玩自焚。自焚不划算的，根本感动不了开发商，推土机、飞行器里的城管们看着居民烧成碳化物后还哈哈大笑，觉得这些生物真的很二逼。所以以暴制暴的杰克才是对的，他带领大家直扑过去，一顿乱打，城管们才惊慌失措，居民们才换回了家园。
Thirdly:self immolation.When the high tech aircraft came the Na'vi still didn't run and hide,they still stood obstinately waiting in front of that symbolic large [dingzihu] tree ,actually to be like playing self immolation.Self immolation isn't worth it,as it's basically not going to have any effect on the developers,bulldozers,and city managers in their aircraft watching the Na'vi burn themselves to carbon will afterwards burst out laughing and think these creatures are really very stupid [?niubi].Therefore only then is it right for our hero to use violence to overcome violence,and he leads everyone to directly go over and assault,[?to cause confusion with the strike],and only then the city management out of their wits in panic,and only then can the Na'vi make an exchange and return to their home.
四、叛徒。作为人类的我生平第一次为外星人而背叛了人类，当外星土著与地球城管们搏斗时，我是悄悄站在他们那边的，城管们每回向外星人开枪时就紧张，每死一个外星土著就黯然神伤，那些大鸟每抓下一架飞机时就很想鼓掌，及至躲杀城管头子时，我生怕他复活过来希望那个外星土著美女赶紧补上一箭……估计这些叛徒的念头很多看了影片的人也是有的，因为无论中国人外国人都仇恨强行拆迁的事情（中国人为甚），大家就代入感了，就同仇敌忾了。其实那些外星土著长得并不好看，但是看着看着就觉得她们很妩媚了，因为，所有的生物不是因为符合人类的审美标准而美丽，而是因为心灵的相通而美丽。
Fourthly:traitor.[Mankinds behaviour my entire life] and for the first time to betray mankind for the sake of extra terrestrials,when extra-terrestrial aboriginals and Earth aboriginals fight,I was [secretly] on their side,and i was nervous when city management turned to face every extraterrestrial and opened fire,and I felt dejected at every death of the indiginous extraterrestrials ,and every time those huge birds grabbed a plane beneath it I very much wanted to applaud,by the time that he dodged and killed the boss of city management,I was afraid the city manager boss would be resurrected and come over desirous of that beautiful indiginous extraterrestrial women [?while she was quickly repairing her arrow]...I reckon very many who watched the film and the intentions of the traitor would have the same intentions,because regardless of whether Chinese or foreigners all hate the forceful removal of people from their rightful home [Chinese people extremely so],so everyone feels that way on their behalf [in other words can empathise],precisely to say united in anger against a common enemy.Actually all those aboriginal extraterrestrials are not in the least bit good looking,but after watching and watching you start to feel they are very charming,because,they are all living creatures and not because they fit mankinds criteria of aesthetics and beauty,and because they are smart in communication and beautiful.
五、很多中国电影人都在评论《阿凡达》在电影技术上的领先，也说过这部片子是视觉盛宴但内容一般。我就知道中国电影为什么落后了，土鳖的中国电影人根本不知什么是好作品，他们要么把一部作品的主题搞得神神叨叨，比如《三枪》，要么搞得高层建瓴、文以载道，比如……很多。好的作品就是反映人性的，而不是D性或政府性的，中国电影人也不是不知道这个，他们先是不敢，后便不能了，这方面功能被割掉了，所以中国电影人大部份是太监，中国电影就是太监电影，我们拍点被矫改过的历史片就可以了，幻想片是肯定不行的，不是我们技术不行，而是我们想像力不行，不是想像力不行，而是不敢对未来负责任，只想对有关部门负责就可以了。这时候，电影就不是电影，而是有关部门和有关精神的皮影。
Five:Many Chinese film people are all currently discussing Avatar's leading edge technology,and also say this film is a visual feast but the content is ordinary.I right away know why Chinese films are falling behind,[?unsophisticated turtles,hehe] Chinese film industry folk basically don't know what a good work of art is,they either make the theme of a work of art mysterious chatter,for example "3 guns",or [make things highly complex?],words explaining a moral,for example ...very many [hehe..too many to name I take it].Good works of art precisely reflect human nature,and not [?D] nature or government nature.Chinese film industry folk also don't know this,firstly they don't dare,afterwards when the chance arises they can't ,this aspect of their capability is cut off ,therefore the majority of folk in the Chinese film industry are all eunuchs [!!].Chinese films are precisely eunuch films.We shoot films that correct history just so we can understand,fantasy films are definitely no good,it's not that our technology is no good but rather our imagination is no good,or if it's not our imagination it's rather that we don't dare to take responsibility for the future,only take responsibility for one's own relevant department.This period films aren't films but rather with [departments?] and [?spirits]
有唐福珍、潘蓉、最牛钉子户，还有河南、四川、上海最强悍城管，还有拆迁办与非常中国的《城市房屋拆迁管理条例》，怀疑卡梅隆是悄悄在中国卧底多年后才想出这个剧本的，只不过把结尾弄得光明一些。总之，《阿凡达》是一部讴歌钉子户抗击暴力拆迁的成功典范，不论战术上还是战略上都值得借鉴。
We have Tang Fu zhen ,Pan rong [both presumably names of Chinese families who also had to put up a fight to defend their homes being taken from them...at least that's my guess],most stubborn dingzihu[families defending their homes],and also have Henan, Sichuan, Shanghai most valiant city management,as well as [tearing land away from it's owners for use is extremely Chinese?? 技术上中国电影落后五十年，人性上中国电影落后五千年。 The technology in Chinese films has fallen behind 50 years,human nature in Chinese films has fallen behind 5000 years.
