Re this sentence from the expansion:

老板一气 之下辞职信

and the second 他. Context makes it entirely clear that this second 他 refers to the first 他 and not to 老板.However I think you could have a sentence that had the same structure but where the context did not make it so clear which person this 2nd 他 was referring to,so my question is...is there a grammar rule here that makes it clear?

zhendema? [really?]

I wonder what's in the basement? Wine cellar? Gan bei !

So is there a 地牢 [dungeon] below the basement then, and if so does everyone else get tossed in there,or do we continue on in a journey to the centre of the earth?

thanks mate. Come to think of it,I think I have seen a bit of this implied ruguo you refer to. Thanks for raising my awareness and pointing out it's common.

噢,是这样。I noticed that it sounded like hello, but it wasn't coming up as a transliteration,so I wondered if the characters meaning laughter and ugly/vulgar etc had some offensive meaning. Anyhow, thanks,I geddit now.

oh right ,thanks changye for explaining.

Why don't you try to "sit on sofa"

...hehe,well in the spirit of trying to take on all things Chinese, why not? I'll try and remember to give it a shot sometime. :)

Oh yeah, great to hear xiaophil and his 中文吧 getting the recognition he deserves .On ya mate.

Zhen,I'm up for anything so would certainly join in 中年吧 but I am wondering what your idea is in forming such a group. I'm all for it as long as anyone can join.

I had to laugh when (armed with horrible pronunciation), one of the contestants declared "these people don't even understand their own language!"

..hehe,I haven't seen that episode [I think you guys get it way before us down under...we've only received the first episode which went from US to Chile] but they do come out with classics like that sometimes. I've seen em scream loudly in English and get really angry.."why can't they speak English?" in the last season. I suppose they're just stressed and frustrated but it never sounds good.

sounding like a novice "try hard"

...you shenme yisi? and is that everyone that uses Jiayou ?
