No worries.I just hope I can get to watch it on telly or on the computer and preferably episode by episode as soon as it's released and not after hearing the result. So any tips on how to tune in will be greatly appreciated :)

...I agree with explaining the Chinese culture,but I think that'd be hard to put in the initial translation [due to space constraints],and should come out in the discussion.

culture-neutral phrases

...hmm,that's an interesting concept.I suspect that in those instances where colloquialisms are used ,it may be easier said than done to come up with a culture neutral replacement.I can't read the hanzi at the moment,but it would be interesting to discuss this in such circumstances and see if we could come up with something culture neutral and see if everyone agrees.You're probably right.Whether it would sound natural or not is another question.

lol,knights that say 你...seems so funny having the 你 there...that is exactly the sort of thing I like to say.I love throwing a bit of Chinese in to English .Now I know after all these years what those nights were actually saying.

I missed the goons skit you refer to.I'll look it up later.

hehe,yeah...well here's one for you. I posted my comment first ,but then had not closed off the italics so all of my post apart from the first line was in italics so I had to go back and edit it,and lo and behold when my edit went through you'd jumped in line....你没长眼睛？ 你应该排队啊！！
