December 21, 2010 at 4:23 PMI love snow. Magical stuff. Eating pure white freshly fallen snow was one of the first things I wanted to do when I first came in contact with it as a kid [hehe, I was significantly older than one though...curiosity mostly I guess...yeah, also coming from qld I guess it was like close encounters of the nth kind].

December 20, 2010 at 12:55 AMoh well, if it's stuck in your head I'd suggest translating it to Chinese and at least get the Chinese version stuck in your head so you're reinforcing some vocab. But yeah, I'd love to hear you sing it for us too [preferably in Chinese..that could be fun/ny]

December 19, 2010 at 10:41 PMhehe, I applaud the oxymoron. Don't ever let the fear of not pulling it off stop you from having a shot mate. I just didn't know that 练习生 means trainee so that's why I didn't get it. Jiayou...I mean Jiaoxy.

December 19, 2010 at 6:58 AM"练习生专家"
practicing to be an expert on life? 这个意思?

December 19, 2010 at 3:16 AM"胡说八道!都涨成这样了,还正常!什么狗屁专家。"
hehe, a great example of what's great about these dialogues...you get both sides of the coin including the man on the street's keepin' it real view.
Always ends in a great last line also.

December 18, 2010 at 5:08 PMbest line of this dialogue:
它可是我的宝贝
..quite amusingly delivered too and sets up the rest of the humour. Interesting that just like some enthusiasts in the west the car is being referred to as "baby".

December 18, 2010 at 4:58 PMinteresting. I think I find 2nd harder than 3rd. Agree a string of tones is harder to get right. How do you go trying to emphasize 2nd or 3rd in a sentence?

December 22, 2010 at 9:21 AMah yes, thanks Jen...I have heard that, now that you mention it
