"Tina, will you marry me?"

hehe, yeah I've seen that. I wonder how many poor disappointed Tina's there are in the audience [?including home audience] when they realise it's not them?

"minny"...I'm surprised you were taken aback. It's not that uncommon. But I have bad news for you, knowing your love for acronyms. The younger generation seem to have transported all their texting abreviations [think lol , enunciated "lol" and OMG...enunciated "O-M-G" ] into their natural speech. It's quite a laugh. Actually there was a really good funny commercial recently on telly that made a bit of a joke of this...it was teenager talk, and [reminiscent of some movies and skits I've seen...was flying high one of them?] it was subtitled and put into plain English. .."omg peeps"...stuff like that.

"Kenny and Jen...weird"

...maybe because of the singing you were subconsciously thinking of Kenny Rogers, hehe

"suits and ties"..."keep telling us to "relax" "...haha, I can just picture it, what a laugh. :)

haha, I love it. Getting a batting average above 3.0 sounds a real challenge. If it were to be introduced, I'd have to demand that all my previous comments were deleted, or at least that it's declared a whole new ball game and we're starting from scratch. We'd need to bring changye back as our coach. I wouldn't wanna discourage others flippant comments though..often they're the most fun. We need the curveballs and screwballs, googly's, flippant flippers, and fosbury flops.

oh right. I was referring to the pre-wedding shenanigans.

"I'm a little worried that it's my turn now"

haha, be afraid, be very afraid. When you least expect it, expect it.

"Actually, they had to bow first before they got the hongbao"

..right, I just meant all the bowing for the hongbao.

* love the all red thing including the accessories

* "unlucky because dogs (and tigers, too) will both eat a rooster given the chance"....haha, classic..and then take off with the groom, right

* lots of ridiculous activities....I believe there used to be a lot of similar traditions in the west also like this but they seem to have largely died out which is a shame. I like such shenanigans

* 500-600...friends had to bow...a lot...I spot a condition unknown in the west...hongbao bow back

haha, that makes sense. Speaking of which, what were they doing exactly with these oranges and lemons? Is it related to the old kids game? [I presume not]
