Congratulations on the launch of Korean ChinesePod. I think it's great to be able to bring your great product to these other markets for those who can't speak English. The mention of the plan to start a Japanese ChinesePod does raise something for me, more on a selfish note. It makes me wonder if the likes of Changye and Zhenlijiang would have ever graced our community if there had been a Japanese version of ChinesePod all along. Now obviously both of them have excellent English, but still, I think many would be more inclined to study another language from their own native language. One of the great things about our community here is it's global community and thus the rich discussions this has led to on the boards. I'd hate to ever see that fragmented. I do realise though that to a large extent you'll be reaching out to folk who would not have accessed this English ChinesePod. I wish you at CPod every success :)

bibiibjorn,

I guess I'd have to see it in action to know for sure but I'm sorry that I can't say I'm inclined to agree with you. Perhaps at Newbie level it would have a better chance of working due to the lower number of words and higher chance that the words are new, but at the higher levels, the number of words in the expansion becomes a lot higher, most of the words aren't new, and what might be a new word for me may not be a new word for another poddie and vice versa. So I think to have a list at the bottom of the expansion would be large and cumbersome, and I think it would be just as easy, if not easier to just save new words you want to practice to your vocab manager, tailoring your own needs. Also, I think it's nice to have the lessons as bite size chunks so folk can feel they're getting somewhere rather than getting bogged down in too many tasks in the one lesson which some may find daunting. But this is just my opinion since you've asked. It doesn't worry me and I'd be quite happy to see you get your request. You may be right. Good luck mate :)

zhen_ning,

guò is an experienced action marker. So in this example its showing the person has had the experience of going to China. Never been before. There was a recent QW dedicated to it here:

bibiibjorn,

You can left click on any word you want to write which will then add it to your vocabulary manager and then you can go there [click on tools...vocabulary...writing practice] and practice writing it there. You might have to organise your vocab in vocabulary manager if you wan't to go straight to that particular word. Good luck mate :)

Hey bodawei,

That's a shame mate. Here's a much shorter clip [34s] that just shows it a couple of times:

...so it should load quicker and you should see it close to the start [at 10s mark]. There are heaps of clips of it out there. If you have no luck with that one you could just google video "Nick Corrales"
