Dilu 8：26： 不过尤丽她【全力】探长她说。。。is it 全力 as in fully support?...as in "but YouLi, she was fully supportive of [Li] tanzhang [and showed this by ] saying..." ....or was it 权力/权利 [powerful] and 探长 was referring to 尤探长 herself, thus saying "but YouLi, she's a pretty awesome detective, and she said..." Also, if it was referring to 尤探长 was this jumping the gun a little bit? Is the 长 a promotion? what was her title at the start of the whole series? I was under the impression that the 长 was a higher position and that it was only at the end of the dialogue that Litanzhang addressed her as 尤探长 and that this was because it was only at that point that he'd indicated he was retiring and that she'd be promoted to his position. Right or wrong?

Dilu 5：44 ： 建议永远都是会【真善】写了的。couldn't catch the bit in brackets but think there may well be other mistakes [tingcuo] here. I think Dilu is basically saying that stories will always be written thus..that the bad guys get caught in the end. Have I got this right? What's the bit in brackets?

Dilu 0:13 : 那上集里面啊，我们【说】到尤丽根据李探长打的电话破解了他的暗号，然后呢找到了李探长把他给【救】出来了
ok, so just to clarify, this lesson is part 5 of the final mission. So 上集 refers only to part 4 of the final mission, right? [or can it refer to all the previous parts of the final mission?]...anyhow, I took it to be the former...that it referred to part 4 only. So my initial issue was that at first I thought Dilu was saying that XiaoYou cracked the coded message from Litanzhang in part 4...that being his whereabouts and heimao's identity....in which case I was going to take issue that really XiaoYou did not crack anything in that regard as Litanzhang just handed it to her by his clever covering of the microphone to block it the irrelevent stuff. But the key here I think is, if I'm hearing it correctly...说到...that Dilu was saying last episode it was discussed how XiaoYou had cracked the code ...that being how to get into his desk to answer the phone in the first place which took place in part 3. Is this latter interpretation the correct interpretation? It's the only one that makes sense to me and I think I just got off on the wrong tangent because initially I thought I heard 收到 as in 收听 and thought it was only referring to part 4's dialogue [not the discussion]

November 5, 2011 at 2:29 AMThat would really make it Ire land, but all jokes aside, actually the English name for Ireland doesn't come from the English "ire" but from "Eiru" the matron Goddess of Ireland in Irish mythology. Don't think she was too au fait with such a distant [place and time] cultural faux pas. 万岁 the wearin' o' the green !
