A: ni3 ping2shi2 yong4 ya2xian4 ma?
B: oo4 ong4, shlep o3 ong4 a1 AH2! qian1
A: ya2qian1 dui4 ya2chi3 bu4hao3
B: o2 kagegekeh
A: zui4hao3 mei3tian1 wan3shang yong4 ya2xian4
B: ao4! e
...and you know you've made it as a dentist in China when you can understand the replies [or maybe the replies are all the same so it becomes quite intuitive ]

December 4, 2011 at 3:40 AMhey great question mate. It definitely looks like it's saying that you're acting like a foreigner=goat=fool...pull you're head in. Sounds a bit xenophobic, hehe. I hope you get a good insightful answer on this one. I guess it could be toned down to foreign not necessarily referring to those outside China, laowai, but just something you're unfamiliar with..something foreign to you...in this case behaviour that is foreign to the norm.
