April 17, 2008 at 1:57 AMdave, I agree with you. I think Aric is being sarcastic, but it doesn't really work in this medium. His earlier ads were more enjoyable and always made me chuckle. Also, the sound quality of this new batch of ads are poorer, sounds tinny.

It illustrates so well how one learns Chinese; in that at one point along the way, you begin to be able to detect or figure out that the words and their tones don't match the context. Thus, you search (either in your mind or searching in a dictionary) for the right words that make sense I think your story merely shows that you are making progress. 加油加油！
