There is no exact equivalent for 'helicoptor mom' in Chinese, but you could say:
妈妈太溺爱自己的孩子。Māma tài nì'ài zìjǐ de háizi.

叫 (jiào) can also mean 'to be called', as in your example, 我叫恩惠 (Wǒ jiào Enhuì).

Yes, 老样子 (lǎoyàngzi) means 'same old'. It's very commonly used as well. Thanks for mentioning!
