Transcripts involving Dilu - about 5 minutes per hour.

Ones involving Jenny - somewhat slower.

But I was MUCH slower than that when I started.

Thanks again for the thanks. In another 3 or 4 weeks I should again be able to spend a lot of time on them for the rest of the year. I'll probably make another attempt at some UI transcripts. One of my students agreed some time ago to spend some time proofing the transcripts after her exams are over. Not sure if she is still keen, but it will be good to clarify some of Jenny's comments which have really stumped me.

Firstly, if you've seen all my transcripts you would know how much time I spend studying Chinese. The vast majority of my posts have indeed been on transcripts of Intermediate lessons (until these damn cigarette ads recently).

Secondly, if you are correct and I argue with "so many different people" EVERY DAY, you should be able to find say 500 such arguments from this year. I challenge you to find them.

If you really want to argue a point, can I suggest using the truth.

I hope you won't mind if I continue to express my personal opinions here. In fact, what ARE opinions if they are not personal? And of course you can feel free to continue to express yours.
