Ah, no. It's 钥匙圈. She definitely used a first tone, and also "quan" not "chuan." Chinese Wikipedia also calls it a 钥匙圈, though the word is not in my dictionary. Thanks for your help in the sleuthing! I hope my input helps too. (:

You mentioned that 团体 is a general term that can apply to a 小组, 协会 or 基金会. Can it also refer to the other groups, the 组织 and the 集团?

Also, what is the difference between 加入党 and 加入党组织?

本科在中国是读四年。

Is translated as: "In China, an undergraduate course is four years."

 

Does this mean that each course in an undergraduate program takes four years to complete? Or is this sentence mistranslated, and should read, "In China, an undergraduate program is four years"?

If indeed each indivdual course takes four years to complete, that should be spelled out more clearly, as I think it is very different from Western systems where a four-year degree is composed of many courses that usually each range from three to eight months in length.
