March 28, 2009 at 9:45 PMThe dialog uses 历害 lìhai to mean awesome or cool. In the expansion sentences the term 历害 lìhai to mean "hard core" or "tough." These are quite different and are not distinguishable by context. If this is true, how do you know if a person is telling you their teacher is "tough" or "cool". 我的老师真厉害！！

nǐ méiyǒu qù mǎ？ is translated as (You haven't been?)
I assume the 没有 méiyǒu makes this sentence past tense.
So to ask, "You're not going?", would you say:
你不去吗？nǐ bù qù mǎ？
