I went to the CPod meet up last night and...
The ChinesePod staff is a bunch of friendly people. Really. I never doubted that they were, but now my perception has been verified. It's a shame I only had a limited amount of time to chat (my fault, not theirs). I was able to talk to most everyone. I saw Suxiaoya, but sadly I couldn't connect with her as she was busy doing CPod promotion stuff. I don't think John was there, but then again, there was one guy who could've been him.
Anyway, as I was talking to them, it really hit home how hard they work to answer our questions (mine especially sometimes, haha). We can't see how hard they work because we only have our computers in front of us. This is why I would like to take the opportunity and say "Thanks for all the help CPod!"

Just want to add my belated thanks to Jenny and Amanda and everyone at Cpod. Was really nice to meet you all in person, and I appreciated the opportunity.
Back to Boston today...look forward to my next visit to Shanghai and Cpod!

Xiaophil, just to echo ousijia: thanks so much for your lovely post; it really means a lot to us!!
I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to meet you. Hopefully there will be another opportunity to chat soon :-)

Hey all. I have to agree with Xiaophil! I also was able to attend and was great to meet more of the ChinesePod family...and also verified they are all really great, fun, nice people. I did manage to get my pictures up online today, so here they are:

Had a good time too, but unfortunately didn't get there until rather late so didn't get chance to meet many of you. Is this a regular event? If not, can I take the initiative and suggest another meet up on a Wednesday in late Feb?

Forgot for most in China, Picasa is blocked unless using a VPN as I do. Will find a way to post pictures from my personal website instead when I get somet ime in the next few days.
