And as email has become widely used, there have also appeared some viruses that spread via email. It's really hard to guard against. For instance, recently the ``Worm.Lovegate" virus was stirring up trouble on a large scale. It was transmitted via email. It led to computers being controlled by viruses and network paralysis. It created all kinds of serious problems like information leaks.
