有一个三口之家，日子过得非常美满。爸爸妈妈都很爱自己刚满三岁的儿子，而他们的儿子也非常聪明可爱，能说会道。但好景不长，爸爸染上了赌博的恶习，然后又勾搭上了 一个不三不四的女人。结果，这个家里每天都是父母的争吵声和孩子的哭闹声。
yǒu yī ge sān kǒu zhī jiā ，rìzi guò de fēicháng měimǎn 。bàba māma dōu hěn ài zìjǐ gāng mǎn sānsuì de érzi ，ér tāmen de érzi yě fēicháng cōngming kěài ，néngshuōhuìdào 。dàn hǎojǐngbùcháng ，bàba rǎn shàng le dǔbó de èxí ，ránhòu yòu gōuda shàng le yī ge bùsānbùsì de nǚrén 。jiéguǒ ，zhè ge jiāli měitiān dōu shì fùmǔ de zhēngchǎoshēng hé háizi de kūnào shēng 。
There was a family of three. They lived happily together. Mommy and Daddy both loved their son, who had just turned three. And their son was extremely smart, cute, and talkative. But the good times didn't last. Daddy got addicted to gambling, and started carrying on with a questionable woman. So their house was filled every day with the sound of the parents' arguments and the child's tantrums.
谁知没过半年，妈妈突然就失踪了，爸爸带着儿子找了好几天都没找到，后来也就放弃了。

Who could have predicted that in less than half a year, Mommy suddenly disappeared without a trace? Taking his child with him, Daddy searched for her for several days. But they couldn't find her. In the end, they gave up.
打打那以后，爸爸就发现了一件怪事。他观察到他那三岁的儿子变得沉默寡言，很怕见生人。而且还有意无意地一直盯着自己，眼神中充满了疑惑。问他，他也不说。

After that, Daddy discovered something strange. He noticed that his three year-old son had become sullen and withdrawn, and afraid of meeting new people. Wittingly or unwittingly, he was always staring. His eyes were full of doubt. If you asked him about it, he wouldn't say anything.
这天，爸爸看到儿子又躲在墙角盯着自己看。他忍无可忍，一把把孩子拖出来，问他:“儿子，你到底在看什么？”
zhètiān ，bàba kàndào érzi yòu duǒ zài qiángjiǎo dīng zhe zìjǐ kàn 。tā rěn wú kě rěn ，yī bǎ bǎ háizi tuō chūlai ，wèn tā :“érzi ，nǐ dàodǐ zài kàn shénme ？”
One day, Daddy saw his son crouched in the corner again, staring at him. He couldn't take it any longer, and yanked the kid out. He asked ''Just what are you looking at, son?"
