爱尔兰 àiěrlán is Ireland I think. So that would make Irish 爱尔兰人 àiěrlánrén

Correct me if I'm wrong, someone!

When someone gets grumpy about, have to say that just makes it funnier :)

You might want to check the "joke of the day" group for a general gauge of the level of Chinese humour :)

Yea, unfortunately, I have been to Chinese style karaoke ;-) Or fortunately :-p I didn't think about it in those terms, but it's still a bit confusing, perhaps because the singing is so quiet compared to the voices? No idea.

In any case, having both commenting voices un-mic-echoed would have been clearer for understanding, I think.

I think it's just a weird lesson which doesn't really fit anywhere. Really an experiment that didn't work. The speed is definitely elementary, but there's a lot of new vocab. It's definitely not up to intermediate level.

How do you say to grow a beard, instead of shave one?

I am incapable :'-(

I thought it was a good lesson, but the audio of the conversation is really confusing... the levels seem really strange. The first guy that talks sounds really loud, and exactly like the singer when he talks, and when the singer says his last two lines it sounds like two completely different people. Really odd application of echo and levels.
