Posted on: Upcoming lessons, lots of Chinese and a "jia you!"
May 5, 2010 at 10:38 AMI think the above is a very uncharitable comment. Your English sounds fine to me, actually very clearly and carefully spoken. :)

May 5, 2010 at 9:59 AMIt's a bug - your punctuation is in the wrong font! I've mentioned it a number of times, but I don't know if it's on the list to be fixed yet.

April 30, 2010 at 8:50 PMI hate bargaining! It's so un-english! But I'm being persuaded into doing it more and more often. I just don't see the point to save maybe one or two pounds!
I've just kind of accepted these days that I have the kind of face that will be ripped off no matter where I go :-p

April 30, 2010 at 8:57 AMYou mean in the advert at the end? He says "A lot of my learning has come from the community of users that has been built around chinesepod"? I don't think it can be that you mean?
But in any case, the word that usually finishes that phrase is "knots" as in speed of a boat. "a rate of knots".

April 29, 2010 at 12:38 PMI'm even later to the party, but I also love henning's accent here - I'm not normally a german accent fan, but yours has a really gentle comforting tone! Must be all those kids :-)
I kind of want to know the end of Frank's story - he says it was played out on the newbie blog, anyone got a link?

April 29, 2010 at 9:04 AMThanks Jason, that clears it up a little. I understand everything you've written except that last sentence, which just makes no sense at all in any language! ;-)

May 5, 2010 at 10:45 AMHmn. My girlfriend was considering having her eyes done, because she considers her eyes "too small", but decided against it, because she didn't know what effects it would have on her in old age. I'm pretty glad, since I love her eyes just as they are!
