oh, I got it wrong, the translation is "I really appreciate it". I suppose it is just a loose translation, I just find it a weird one, but it's all contextual. My problem, not the language, I guess. (apart from the typo).

In the expansion sentences, we see "辛苦了" (xīn kǔ nǐ le) translated as "thanks for your trouble" (and 辛苦 itself translated as "to touble", but that's just a typo...).

The lesson doesn't allude to this meaning, how does it fit into thanking someone in that form? I can if that's a definition it can mean "it troubled you"...

I would rather any teacher spoke so that I could understand it rather than blurring words together as we do as native speakers chatting to friends.

Not sure what your beef is? Her English is fine, and very understandable. She's not teaching English, she's teaching Chinese. There's really no need for this rudeness.
