I hope to be that good someday...sigh. @ Cassie, it was interesting to hear you talk to RJ about the accents...i guess its similar to life here in the States. we can tell very quickly if someone is from the north like NYC or from the south like Alabama...they both speak english but it sounds different...even the slang is different...very interesting to hear its like that in China too. maybe there could be a DA episode on the different accents heard around China. Like the difference between Beijing and Fuijian Province...I would love to hear more about that...

I'm so glad that my family moved out of there a long time ago though...my mom still goes back once a year to visit relatives...she says that its gotten really really bad there...i am so thankful to be living in beautiful southern california now...hey cpod please do a lesson on one of the great cities here like Los Angeles, San Diego, or San Fran. That would be great! I know we got a lot of poddies here that would appreciate it. -Adam

April 11, 2008 at 5:57 PMi acutally got to taste the dreaded Bai jiu on my trip...i literally just tasted it and i thought i was going to puke...the drop that i swallowed burned all the way down! that stuff is strong and nasty!! Watch out weiguorens! Do not drink it unless you want to end up with bowls and chopsticks 6 feet above you! -Adam

My friend acutally lives right down the street from that so i got to see it daily...yep its pretty strange so i had to get a picture of it.... I'm not a real pc savvy guy though so can someone please advise me on how to properly post a picture here?? Is it just a cut and paste thing? Thanks -Adam
